Worm WineTM
Use Worm Wine safely at full strength as a soil drench or as a foliar feeder diluted 50% in rainwater. What is in Worm Wine™ ? Our worms are fed a diet of composted horse barn waste, fruit and veggie scraps, and bedding composed of leaves, cardboard, newspaper, and rotted straw. This mix produces a rich vermicompost full of nutrients and beneficial microbes for your plants. The molasses in the Worm Wine (TM) encourages the growth of a beneficial microbe colony, by giving it a ready food source. We use rainbarrel water because the chemicals in tap water might kill the microbes. Everything in Worm Wine™ , except the molasses, is a recycled or repurposed product. We make Worm Wine™ when you order it and keep it oxygenated (living organisms need oxygen) while it brews the microbes to full working capacity. Added to your soil or fed to the leaves of your plants, Worm Wine™ will help you have healthy, vibrant and productive plants. Alfalfa Meal can help restore soil and bring back it's full growing potential. With a unique 3-1-2 ratio, Alfalfa Meal is an all natural, organic fertilizer that replaces the sugar, starches and proteins that help keep your plants growing healthy and strong. Dry Molasses provides carbon, sulfur, potash, and many trace minerals. Molasses also provides food for microorganisms. It is a good, quick source of energy for the soil life in your yard or garden and microbes in a compost pile (speeding up decomposition).
